Gingham Gal

Gingham has been a big trend this season and I have always been a fan of gingham - it kind of reminds me of our school uniforms back in Primary school. Mine was blue and white and I always wanted to find that perfect dress, that I thought was cooler than the rest! So when I saw this over the shoulder gingham shirt from Forever21 I was super excited to style it up.

I have paired the shirt with a distressed denim skirt that is a current favourite of mine. For accessories I kept things in a simple palette and choose some suede grey mules, a fedora and neck tie. I felt all these pieces added a little edge to the playful, young print of the gingham top.
